BOARD SPOTLIGHT: Jolene Greve
Dan (left) & Jolene: Citizen of the Year 2018
What celebrity or athlete would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee?
I am a HUGE fan of Roger Federer! Aside from being an outstanding tennis player, he's philanthropic and just embodies professionalism on every level.
What is your favorite family vacation?
The Greve Family loves Walt Disney World! We love the rides, shows, and I make all of my boys go with me to the character meals so that I can dine with Cinderella and the princesses.
What song would you say best sums you up?
There is only one answer for this..."Jolene" by Dolly Parton. I've been sung to my whole life! And for the record, I was born before that song ever came out, and I've never stolen someone's man. I was actually named after my two grandmothers, Josephine and Lena.
What is your most recent favorite TV program?
I am currently engrossed in Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. It's all about the food! Highly recommend!
My role at MSF and why I volunteer:
Since joining the Mayfield Schools Foundation Board, I'm very excited to see the growth and momentum we are experiencing. It is very fulfilling to see the collaboration between the school district and professional organizations, all for the greater good of maintaining the outstanding reputation of the Mayfield City School District, and allowing them to remain at the forefront of innovation, and continuous evaluation of the overall curriculum.
As this year's Chairperson for the Mayfield Schools Foundation Swing and Par-Tee event at TopGolf, being held on Sunday, April 11th, this gives our Wildcat families, alums, and friends something fun to look forward to as we safely evolve from this pandemic. We look forward to seeing you there!
Support Mayfield Students on Giving Tuesday
Welcome to our new website!
During this most difficult time, we have come to more fully appreciate the importance of innovation. We have seen our schools, students, and communities having to adapt to circumstances that have highlighted the need for technology, creativity and alternatives to the traditional ways of learning and communicating.
