In addition to regular business, the June meeting of the MSF Board of Directors included a special recognition for two board members who have been instrumental in the creation and success of the Mayfield Schools Foundation. With unanimous approval, the Board conferred the title of Director Emeritus on June 2, 2011 to:
George J. Hughes in recognition of his service to the Foundation from the beginning of the Foundation in 2010 as the appointee of the Board of Education to his most recent service as an elected community member.
Dr. Keith Kelly in recognition of his service to the Foundation since 2012, in particular his leading the merger of the Mayfield Business Alliance into the Foundation and his commitment to the establishment of the Green Tie Gala.
We are grateful for their past support and involvement in the Mayfield Schools Foundation and are honored that they will continue to be engaged through these new roles.
